Along the Dalmation Coast, the city of Dubrovnik has become famous for its pedestrian-only Old Town surrounded by fortress walls, and its historical heft has earned it World Heritage Site status.
Dubrovnik City Walls and Lapad will appeal to history buffs. Get outdoors at Lokrum Island and Kayaking & Canoeing. You'll find plenty of places to visit near Dubrovnik: Cavtat (Cavtat Cemetery & Cavtat Old Town). There's lots more to do: wander the streets of Old Town, see the interesting displays at War Photo Limited, don't miss a visit to Pile Gate, and take in the architecture and atmosphere at Church of Saint Blaise.
