Chania Town

The place where Cretan and Venetian cultures merged in the 13th century, Chania Town attracts throngs of tourists with its well-preserved medieval harbor.
Step off the beaten path and head to Agia Marina Beach and Iguana Beach. Bring the kids along to Agii Apostoli Beach and Lighthouse. There's lots more to do: stroll through Nea Chora Beach, stroll the grounds of Venizelos Graves, don't miss a visit to Old Venetian Harbor, and examine the collection at Museum-Residence of Eleftherios Venizelos.

On the 5th (Sat), look for gifts at Nama&Flaski, tour the pleasant surroundings at Mavros Molos, and then explore the striking landscape at Komolithi. Get ready for a full day of sightseeing on the next day: trek along Sirikari Gorge - Polyrrinia Trail, take in the architecture and atmosphere at Ekklisia Ioannis Prodromes, enjoy the sand and surf at Vigglia Beach, then delve into the distant past at Archaeological Site of Polyrrhenia, and finally explore the different monuments and memorials at German Military Cemetery.
