On the 2nd (Mon), contemplate in the serene atmosphere at Basilica of St. Servatius, then take in the pleasant sights at Boekhandel Dominicanen, and then don't miss a visit to Vrijthof. Known as the "judicial capital of the world," The Hague is the center for everything official in the Netherlands: the home of the Dutch government and parliament, the workplace of the King and Queen, and the base of many international affairs such as the International Court of Justice and the International Criminal Court.
Get out of town with these interesting The Hague side-trips: Haarlem (Grote Markt, Sint-Bavokerk (Church of St. Bavo), &more). Located in the South Holland province, Rotterdam is one of the Netherlands' most lively cities, as well as one of the largest trading ports in the world.
Start off your visit on the 9th (Mon): examine the collection at Kijk-Kubus, get in on the family fun at Efteling, and then meet the residents at Rotterdam Zoo.
