A snaking coastline and quaint, sleepy fishing villages characterize Amed, a stretch of shorefront with seven villages in Bali's east.
Kick off your visit on the 23rd (Sat): take a tour by water with Boat Tours & Water Sports and then enjoy the sand and surf at Jemeluk Beach. On the 24th (Sun), you'll have a packed day of sightseeing: make a trip to Lempuyang Temple, steep yourself in history at Ujung Water Palace, then admire the natural beauty at Taman Tirtagangga, and finally see the vivid underwater world at USS Liberty Shipwreck.

You can drive from Pemuteran to Amed in 3.5 hours. Alternatively, you can do a combination of taxi and bus. In November, daytime highs in Amed are 38°C, while nighttime lows are 28°C. Finish your sightseeing early on the 24th (Sun) to allow enough time to drive to Ubud.

Getting from Amed to Ubud by car takes about 2.5 hours. Other options: take a bus. In November in Ubud, expect temperatures between 37°C during the day and 29°C at night. Wrap up your sightseeing on the 26th (Tue) early enough to drive to Kuta.
