"Situated near the massive peaks of the Aiguilles Rouges and, most notably, the Aiguille du Midi, Chamonix is one of the oldest ski resorts in France and known as the Alpine Capital of the World.
On the 22nd (Sat), head outdoors with Compagnie du Mont Blanc, look for all kinds of wild species at Aiguilles Rouges, take in the architecture and atmosphere at Eglise Saint Michel, then explore the different monuments and memorials at Chamonix Cemetery, and finally stop by Cha'Cha'Cha'. On the 23rd (Sun), you'll have a packed day of sightseeing: take in the architecture and atmosphere at Eglise Saint-Jean Baptiste, then pause for some serene contemplation at Eglise Notre-Dame de Toute Grace, then take in the architecture and atmosphere at Eglise Saint Gervais Saint Protais, and finally steep yourself in history at Maison Forte de Hautetour.
