Goris, is a town in the southern Syunik Province of Armenia. Kick off your visit on the 15th (Thu): explore the striking landscape at Medieval Goris Cave Dwellings, delve into the distant past at Zorats Karer, then delve into the distant past at Karahundj (Armenia's Stonehenge), then take in the dramatic scenery at Shaki Waterfall, and finally explore the ancient world of Aghitu Memorial. Start off your visit on the 19th (Mon): get engrossed in the history at Memorial Museum of Orbeli Brothers, stop by Wine Store Tsaghkadzor, take in the spiritual surroundings of Kecharis Monastery, then don't miss a visit to Monastery Sevanavank, then take in the spiritual surroundings of Goshavank Monastery, and finally contemplate in the serene atmosphere at Haghartsin Monastery. You can drive from Areni to Dilijan in 2.5 hours. Alternatively, you can do a combination of taxi and bus. In August, daily temperatures in Dilijan can reach 41°C, while at night they dip to 23°C. Wrap up your sightseeing on the 20th (Tue) early enough to drive to Yerevan.
