Areni is a village in the Vayots Dzor Province of Armenia. On the 29th (Sun), take in the architecture and atmosphere at Tsakhats Kar Monastery, identify plant and animal life at Vardenyats Pass (Selim Pass), then do a tasting at Old Bridge Winery, and finally take in the spiritual surroundings of Noravank Monastery. Here are some ideas for day two: explore the different monuments and memorials at Yeghegis Jewish Cemetery, delve into the distant past at Zorats Church, then pause for some serene contemplation at Tanahati Monastery, then examine the collection at Gladzor University Historical-Cultural Museum-Reservation, and finally explore the stunning scenery at Noravank Gorge.

On the 1st (Tue), contemplate in the serene atmosphere at Haghartsin Monastery, take in the spiritual surroundings of Goshavank Monastery, then don't miss a visit to Monastery Sevanavank, then stroll the grounds of Noratus Cemetery, and finally enjoy the sand and surf at Hayravank Monastery. Get ready for a full day of sightseeing on the 2nd (Wed): pause for some serene contemplation at Hnevank Monastery and then admire the majestic nature at Dilijan National Park.
