Modern yet historic, Málaga is a lively city famous for being the birthplace of Pablo Picasso.
Visit Alcazaba de Antequera and Malaga Cathedral for their historical value. Appreciate the collections at Museo del Vidrio y Cristal de Malaga and Museo Carmen Thyssen Malaga. And it doesn't end there: explore the ancient world of Teatro Romano, pause for some serene contemplation at Iglesia de Santo Domingo de Guzman, make a trip to Pasaje de Chinitas, and get engrossed in the history at Alcazaba.

Andalucía’s thousand-year-old city, Córdoba, was once the capital of both the Roman Empire and the Moorish Kingdom, representing an alluring mix of cultural and political history.
Kick off your visit on the 26th (Sat): explore the world behind art at Museo del Guadameci Omeya. Exposicion de Ramon Garcia Romero y Jose Carlos V. Garcia, make a trip to Calleja del Panuelo, then admire the landmark architecture of Mezquita Cathedral de Cordoba, then get to know the fascinating history of Jewish Quarter (Juderia), and finally admire the masterpieces at Centro de Arte Rafael Boti. On the next day, don't miss a visit to Cairuan Street, then take in the architecture and atmosphere at Parroquia de San Lorenzo Mártir, and then see the interesting displays at Casa de las Cabezas- Patios de Leyenda.

You can take a train from Malaga to Cordoba in 1.5 hours. Alternatively, you can drive; or take a bus. In October, daily temperatures in Cordoba can reach 32°C, while at night they dip to 16°C. Finish your sightseeing early on the 28th (Mon) so you can take a train to Madrid.
