A relaxed town of tree-shaded streets and scenic coastal stretches, Broome gained renown as a center of the pearling industry in the late 19th century.
Broome is known for beaches, wildlife, and nature. Founded as a military outpostĀ in 1826, Albany is the oldest town in Western Australia, just barely gaining this title by being settled two years earlier than Fremantle and Perth.
On the 22nd (Tue), get great views at Rotary Lookout Albany, see the interesting displays at National Anzac Centre, visit a coastal fixture at Point King Lighthouse, thentake in the dramatic natural features at The Gap and Natural Bridge, and finally make a trip to Albany Wind Farm.
