Do a combination of taxi and flight from Magong to Nantou in 4 hours. Alternatively, you can do a combination of ferry and taxi; or do a combination of ferry and bus. In December in Nantou, expect temperatures between 24°C during the day and 15°C at night. Wrap up your sightseeing on the 12th (Thu) early enough to travel to Kaohsiung.

A small trading town in the 17th century, Kaohsiung now stands as a sprawling metropolis, its harbor representing the largest on the island.
