London, UK to Geneva is an approximately 5-hour flight. You can also take a train; or do a combination of car and train. You'll lose 1 hour traveling from London to Geneva due to the time zone difference. Traveling from London in December, things will get a bit cooler in Geneva: highs are around 6°C and lows about 0°C. Cap off your sightseeing on the 24th (Thu) early enough to go by car to Zermatt.

Best known as home the Matterhorn mountain, Zermatt serves as a chic ski resort town of the Swiss Alps.

Getting from Geneva to Zermatt by car takes about 3.5 hours. Other options: take a train. Finish your sightseeing early on the 26th (Sat) so you can take a train to Bern.

The capital and political center of Switzerland, Bern sits on a peninsula formed by the U-shaped River Aare.

On the 27th (Sun), explore the activities along Aare River, then get great views at The Cathedral of Bern, then take a stroll through UNESCO-Altstadt von Bern, and finally take in panoramic vistas at Clock Tower - Zytglogge. Get ready for a full day of sightseeing on the 28th (Mon): take in panoramic vistas at Gurten, glide through the air with a parasailing or paragliding tour, and then take in nature's colorful creations at Rose Garden (Rosengarten).

You can take a train from Zermatt to Bern in 3 hours. Alternatively, you can drive. In December, daily temperatures in Bern can reach 5°C, while at night they dip to -3°C. Finish up your sightseeing early on the 28th (Mon) so you can catch the train to Zurich.
