The capital and political center of Switzerland, Bern sits on a peninsula formed by the U-shaped River Aare.
You've now added Church of the Holy Ghost to your itinerary. On the 28th (Sun), pause for some photo ops at Adrian von Bubenberg-Denkmal, don't miss a visit to Bundesplatz, take in the architecture and atmosphere at Church of the Holy Ghost, then explore the activities along Aare River, and finally enjoy breathtaking views from Clock Tower - Zytglogge. With a population of just 450 people, Murren brings to life an authentic Swiss mountain village.
On the 30th (Tue), appreciate the extensive heritage of Kleine Scheidegg, trek along The Eiger, and then soothe aching muscles at some of the top local wellness centers. On the next day, take in the awesome beauty at Allmendhubel, then hike along Gimmelwald - Tanzbodeli, and then hike along Blumental Panorama Trail.

Traveling by train from Bern to Murren takes 2 hours. Alternatively, you can do a combination of train and bus. Wrap up your sightseeing on the 2nd (Thu) to allow time to take a train to Interlaken.

Interlaken

Nestled between Lake Thun and Lake Brienz in the heart of the Jungfrau region, Interlaken became popular for its proximity to the mountains and lakes of the Bernese Oberland region.
Attractions like Harderkulm and Augstmatthorn make great kid-friendly stops. Step out of Interlaken with an excursion to Mt Pilatus in Kriens--about 1h 10 min away. There's more to do: contemplate the waterfront views at Lake Brienz and take in the dramatic scenery at Lauterbrunnen Village.
