You'll find plenty of places to visit near Takamatsu: Naoshima-cho (Art House Project, Chichu Art Museum, & more), Kyu Zentsujikaikosya (in Zentsuji) and Marugame Castle (in Marugame). Kick off your visit on the 3rd (Fri): enjoy the sand and surf at Katsura Hama, then don't miss a visit to Harimaya Bridge, then pick up some local products at Hirome Ichiba, and finally explore the historical opulence of Kochi Castle. You can drive from Takamatsu to Kochi in 2 hours. Other options are to take a train; or take a bus. While traveling from Takamatsu, expect somewhat warmer days and about the same nights in Kochi, ranging from highs of 13°C to lows of 2°C. Wrap up your sightseeing on the 4th (Sat) early enough to drive to Matsuyama.
