One of east Asia's major cultural and financial centers, Seoul boasts five World Heritage Sites and a huge selection of museums, temples, shrines, palaces, parks, gardens, and glass-and-steel skyscrapers.

Get out of town with these interesting Seoul side-trips: Paju (The Third Tunnel & DMZ Haemaru Village), Eulwangni Beach (in Incheon) and Ilsan Lake Park (in Goyang). Spend the 29th (Sun) exploring nature at Bukhansan National Park. Pack the 3rd (Thu) with family-friendly diversions at Lotte World. There's still lots to do: wander the streets of Insadong, brush up on your military savvy at The War Memorial of Korea, get engrossed in the history at National Museum of Korea, and appreciate the extensive heritage of Hwaseong Fortress.
