Barcelona, the country’s second-largest city, is a cosmopolitan urban center known for its throbbing youthful energy and stellar architecture.
Start off your visit on the 27th (Mon): get your game on at Virtual Playground, walk around Parc Guell, and then make a trip to Casa Mila - La Pedrera. On the next day, take in the architecture and atmosphere at Barcelona Cathedral, then take a stroll through El Barri Gòtic, then admire the landmark architecture of Basilica of the Sagrada Familia, and finally admire the landmark architecture of Casa Batllo.

Modern yet historic, Málaga is a lively city famous for being the birthplace of Pablo Picasso.
You'll find plenty of places to visit near Malaga: Granada (Generalife & Mirador de San Nicolas), Ronda (Puente Nuevo, El Tajo de Ronda, &more) and Experience Box Spain (in Marbella). There's still lots to do: have some family-friendly fun at La Casa de las Habitaciones Malaga, pause for some serene contemplation at Santuario de la Victoria, take in the waterfront at Puerto de Málaga, and don't miss a visit to Pasaje de Chinitas.

Traveling by flight from Barcelona to Malaga takes 3.5 hours. Alternatively, you can take a train; or drive. Traveling from Barcelona in January, you will find days in Malaga are somewhat warmer (20°C), and nights are about the same (9°C). On the 3rd (Mon), wrap the sightseeing up by early afternoon so you can take a train to Madrid.

Madrid is known for its cultural and artistic heritage, lively nightlife, and a dynamic culinary scene.
On the 3rd (Mon), have some family-friendly fun at EXIT Madrid. Get ready for a full day of sightseeing on the next day: examine the collection at Museo Nacional Thyssen-Bornemisza, steep yourself in history at Plaza Mayor, and then admire the masterpieces at Prado National Museum.
