Traveling by combination of flight and train from Munich to Avignon takes 6 hours. Alternatively, you can drive; or take a train. Traveling from Munich in May, things will get somewhat warmer in Avignon: highs are around 27°C and lows about 13°C. Wrap up your sightseeing on the 22nd (Fri) early enough to travel to La Croix-Valmer.
