A city with a stormy history and a cosmopolitan heart, Thessaloniki attracts visitors with its diverse culinary scene, dynamic nightlife, and youthful energy.
Step out of Thessaloniki with an excursion to Ktima Gerovassiliou in Epanomi--about 34 minutes away. There's much more to do: pause for some serene contemplation at Hagios Demetrios, appreciate the history behind Monument of Alexander The Great, get engrossed in the history at Museum of Byzantine Culture, and explore the ancient world of Rotunda.
