The old mining town of Santa Fe de Antioquia seems suspended in time, with extremely well-preserved colonial-era architecture protected as a national monument since the 1960s.
Kick off your visit on the 8th (Wed): admire the striking features of Catedral Basilica de la Inmaculada Concepcion and then take in the spiritual surroundings of Iglesia de Nuestra Senora de los Dolores. On the 9th (Thu), you'll have a packed day of sightseeing: take in the architecture and atmosphere at Iglesia de Jesus Nazareno, examine the collection at Museo Monsenor Toro, arte religioso, and then get engrossed in the history at Museo Juan Del Corral.
