Your itinerary includes some good beach time at La playa de Tamariu and Platja Fonda. Barcelona, the country’s second-largest city, is a cosmopolitan urban center known for its throbbing youthful energy and stellar architecture.
Kick off your visit on the 14th (Tue): pause for some serene contemplation at Barcelona Cathedral, head outdoors with Mercado Gotico de Barcelona (Mercat Gotic de Barcelona), walk around Parc Guell, thenadmire the landmark architecture of Basilica of the Sagrada Familia, and finally don't miss a visit to Casa Batllo. On the next day, wander the streets of Las Ramblas, thenadmire the masterpieces at Museu Picasso, and then get to know the fascinating history of El Barri Gòtic.
