Lloret de Mar is a Mediterranean coastal town in Catalonia, Spain. Deepen your sense of the past at sights like Salvador Dali House and Castell d'en Plaja. Your itinerary includes some good beach time at La playa de Tamariu and Platja Fonda. Venture out of the city with trips to Museu de la Mediterrania (in Torroella de Montgri), Playas de Calella (in Calella de Palafrugell) and Cadaques (Estatua Federico Garcia Lorca & Esglesia de Santa Maria). Kick off your visit on the 14th (Tue): pause for some serene contemplation at Barcelona Cathedral, head outdoors with Mercado Gotico de Barcelona (Mercat Gotic de Barcelona), walk around Parc Guell, thenadmire the landmark architecture of Basilica of the Sagrada Familia, and finally don't miss a visit to Casa Batllo. On the next day, wander the streets of Las Ramblas, thenadmire the masterpieces at Museu Picasso, and then get to know the fascinating history of El Barri Gòtic.
