The national capital for over a thousand years, Kyoto retains much of the charm of old Japan, boasting numerous temples and shrines that seem completely untouched by the modern world.
Satisfy your inner culture vulture at Fushimi Inari-taisha Shrine and Nijo Castle. Explore hidden gems such as Eikando Zenrinji Temple and Toji. Take a break from Kyoto with a short trip to Dotonbori in Osaka, about 1h 10 min away. There's much more to do: don't miss a visit to Kiyomizu-dera Temple, contemplate in the serene atmosphere at Kinkaku-ji, take a stroll through Gion, and contemplate the long history of Sanjusangendo Temple.

You can also do a combination of ferry, bus, flight, and train; or do a combination of ferry and flight. The time zone difference when traveling from Boracay to Kyoto is 1 hour. Traveling by train from Kyoto to Hiroshima takes 2 hours. Alternatively, you can drive; or take a bus. August in Hiroshima sees daily highs of 36°C and lows of 29°C at night. Finish your sightseeing early on the 6th (Sat) so you can travel to Ishigaki.

Located on the coast in the middle of the island, Onna-son has become known for its beaches and seaside economy.
On the 10th (Wed), contemplate the long history of Nakijin Castle Ruins, then explore the striking landscape at Cape Manzamo, and then get outside with Outdoor Activities.
