Mumbai, India to Hiroshima is an approximately 15-hour combination of flight and train. You can also fly. The time zone difference when traveling from Mumbai to Hiroshima is 3 hours. Kick off your visit on the 20th (Mon): step into the grandiose world of Osaka Castle, then wander the streets of Dotonbori, and then take a stroll through Shinsaibashi-suji Shopping Street. Get ready for a full day of sightseeing on the next day: walk around Nara Park, contemplate in the serene atmosphere at Kasuga Grand Shrine, then take in the spiritual surroundings of Todai-ji Temple, and finally look for gifts at Tenjimbashisuji Shopping Street.

Traveling by train from Hiroshima to Osaka takes 2 hours. Alternatively, you can drive; or do a combination of train and flight. In May, plan for daily highs up to 29°C, and evening lows to 18°C. Cap off your sightseeing on the 21st (Tue) early enough to catch the train to Kyoto.

Kyoto is just a short distance from Osaka. May in Kyoto sees daily highs of 29°C and lows of 17°C at night. Finish your sightseeing early on the 24th (Fri) to allow enough time to travel to Tokyo.
