Start off your visit on the 3rd (Sat): get a sense of history and politics at Imperial Palace, don't miss a visit to Tokyo Tower, don't miss a visit to Shibuya Crossing, then make a trip to Meiji Jingu Shrine, and finally get a sense of history and politics at Tokyo Metropolitan Government Buildings. On your second day here, take in nature's colorful creations at Shinjuku Gyoen National Garden, have some family-friendly fun at Owl cafe Akiba Fukurou, then take in the spiritual surroundings of Senso-ji Temple, and finally explore the world behind art at Tokyo National Museum.

Visakhapatnam, India to Tokyo is an approximately 12.5- hour combination of flight and train. You can also fly. Traveling from Visakhapatnam to Tokyo, you'll lose 3.5 hours due to the time zone difference. In October, daily temperatures in Tokyo can reach 26°C, while at night they dip to 18°C. Finish up your sightseeing early on the 4th (Sun) so you can catch the train to Kyoto.

Start off your visit on the 5th (Mon): step into the grandiose world of Nijo Castle, then don't miss a visit to Kiyomizu-dera Temple, and then steep yourself in history at Fushimi Inari-taisha Shrine. On the 6th (Tue), you'll have a packed day of sightseeing: take in the spiritual surroundings of Kinkaku-ji and then wander the streets of Arashiyama.

Traveling by train from Tokyo to Kyoto takes 2.5 hours. Alternatively, you can do a combination of flight and bus; or drive. In October, plan for daily highs up to 27°C, and evening lows to 18°C. Wrap up your sightseeing on the 6th (Tue) to allow time to take a train to Osaka.

Get ready for a full day of sightseeing on the 8th (Thu): explore the historical opulence of Osaka Castle, then observe the fascinating underwater world at Osaka Aquarium Kaiyukan, then get your game on at Sunset Owl Cafe, and finally visit Dotombori.
