Bengaluru to Shimla is an approximately 5-hour flight. You can also drive; or do a combination of train and taxi. When traveling from Bengaluru in December, plan for little chillier days and about the same nights in Shimla: temperatures range from 25°C by day to 17°C at night. Finish your sightseeing early on the 22nd (Sat) to allow enough time to drive to Kufri.
