On the 3rd (Wed), step into the grandiose world of Chateau Royal d'Amboise, then explore the historical opulence of Domaine de Chaumont-sur-Loire, and then contemplate the long history of Chateau Royal de Blois. On the 4th (Thu), you'll have a packed day of sightseeing: take in the architecture and atmosphere at Cathedrale Saint-Gatien, tour the pleasant surroundings at Chateau de Villandry, and then get engrossed in the history at Le Chateau du Clos Luce - Parc Leonardo da Vinci.

Rocamadour is only accessible by one road leading into the port town built on the face of a cliff with a large number of buildings cantilevered over the edge.
On the 7th (Sun), contemplate the long history of Cite Religieuse, then look for all kinds of wild species at La Foret des Singes, and then Head underground at Gouffre de Padirac.

Traveling by car from Bayeux to Rocamadour takes 7 hours. Alternatively, you can do a combination of train, bus, and flight; or do a combination of flight and train.
