Amboise is a commune in the Indre-et-Loire department in central France. On the 3rd (Wed), examine the collection at Chateau de Chenonceau, get engrossed in the history at Le Chateau du Clos Luce - Parc Leonardo da Vinci, and then steep yourself in history at Chateau Royal d'Amboise.

At the southernmost tip of the island of Corsica, Bonifacio is a city with chalk-white limestone outcrops sculpted into unusual shapes by the ocean.
On the 6th (Sat), Head underground at Grottes de Bonifacio, kick back and relax at Plage de Santa Giulia, and then tour the pleasant surroundings at Plage de Palombaggia. Keep things going the next day: head off the coast to Iles Lavezzi and then steep yourself in history at Bonifacio Citadel.
