Punta Cana, Dominican Republic to Kyoto is an approximately 25-hour combination of flight and train. You can also do a combination of flight and bus; or do a combination of flight, bus, and train. Due to the time zone difference, you'll lose 13 hours traveling from Punta Cana to Kyoto. Start off your visit on the 31st (Tue): explore the fascinating underground world of Ishigaki Island Limestone Cave, enjoy the sand and surf at Kondoi Beach, then stroll through Fusaki Beach, and finally take an in-depth tour of Ishigaki Yaima Village. When traveling from Hiroshima in December, plan for a bit warmer days in Ishigaki, with highs around 26°C, while nights are much warmer with lows around 20°C. Finish your sightseeing early on the 1st (Wed) so you can travel to Tokyo.
