One of the hippest urban centers in the northeastern part of the country, Newcastle upon Tyne once had a reputation for being an industrial wasteland with little to offer casual tourists.
Kids will enjoy Beadnell Bay Beach and ImmotionVR. Step out of the city life by going to Alpacaly Ever After and Low Newton by the Sea Beach. Step out of Newcastle upon Tyne to go to Bamburgh and see St Aiden Beach, which is approximately 1 hour away. There's more to do: contemplate the long history of Victoria Tunnel and take a stroll through The Quayside.

On the 20th (Mon), make a trip to Rotterdam Centraal Station, try out the rides at Madurodam, and then tour the pleasant surroundings at Zandmotor.
