Kick off your visit on the 12th (Thu): take an in-depth tour of Alcazaba, then examine the collection at Colección del Museo Ruso, then enjoy the sand and surf at Playa La Carihuela, and finally enjoy the sand and surf at Playa El Bajondillo. Start off your visit on the 14th (Sat): do a tasting at Bodegas Lagar Blanco, do a tasting at Alvear, appreciate the extensive heritage of Calleja del Panuelo, admire the landmark architecture of Mezquita Cathedral de Cordoba, then join in the after-dark buzz at Visual Axes, and finally examine the collection at Museo del Guadameci Omeya. On the 15th (Sun), you'll have a packed day of sightseeing: see the interesting displays at Centro Flamenco Fosforito, appreciate the extensive heritage of Jewish Quarter (Juderia), contemplate the long history of Casa Andalusi, then contemplate the long history of Alcazar de los Reyes Cristianos, and finally don't miss a visit to Cairuan Street.

Traveling by train from Malaga to Cordoba takes 1.5 hours. Alternatively, you can drive; or take a bus. Traveling from Malaga in September, you will find days in Cordoba are somewhat warmer (38°C), and nights are little chillier (19°C). Cap off your sightseeing on the 15th (Sun) early enough to catch the train to Seville.

A city of rich Moorish heritage, Seville is the cultural and financial center of southern Spain, and the site of numerous festivals throughout the year.
On your second day here, get great views at Catedral de Sevilla, take in the architecture and atmosphere at Capilla de los Marineros, explore the ancient world of Archaeological Ensemble of Italica, then take in nature's colorful creations at Royal Alcázar of Seville, and finally admire the landmark architecture of Plaza de España.

Getting from Cordoba to Seville by train takes about an hour. Other options: drive; or take a bus. Expect little chillier weather when traveling from Cordoba in September: highs in Seville hover around 33°C, while lows dip to 20°C. Wrap up your sightseeing on the 17th (Tue) to allow time to take a bus to Ronda.

Take a bus from Seville to Ronda in 2 hours. Alternatively, you can drive; or take a train. In September, plan for daily highs up to 36°C, and evening lows to 20°C. Finish up your sightseeing early on the 19th (Thu) so you can go by car to Granada.

On your second day here, make a trip to Barrio de la Villa, step into the grandiose world of Fortaleza de la Mota, then appreciate the extensive heritage of Albayzin, then contemplate in the serene atmosphere at Monasterio Cartuja, and finally take in the architecture and atmosphere at Basilica de San Juan de Dios.

Traveling by car from Ronda to Granada takes 2.5 hours. Alternatively, you can take a train; or take a bus. Expect slightly colder temperatures when traveling from Ronda in September; daily highs in Granada reach 32°C and lows reach 17°C.
