Straddling the banks of the Eerste River, the university town of Stellenbosch enjoys international fame for its renowned wine estates and gourmet restaurants.
Explore Stellenbosch's surroundings by going to Betty's Bay (Harold Porter National Botanical Gardens & Stony Point Penguin Colony), First South African Perfume Museum (in Franschhoek) and Shark Diving (in Gansbaai). Dedicate the 18th (Tue) to wine at some of the top wineries in the area.
