Halmstad is a port, university, industrial and recreational city at the mouth of Nissan in the province of Halland on the Swedish west coast. Kick off your visit on the 18th (Sat): get lost in a book at Halmstad Stadsbibliotek, stop by Kvibille ostbod, then tee off at Halmstad Golfbana Tylosand, then stroll around Rhododendronparken, and finally take in the architecture and atmosphere at S:t Nikolai kyrka. Keep things going the next day: experience rural life at Ostroo farfarm, head outdoors with Simstadion Brottet, and then head outdoors with Ostra Strandens Gokartbana.
