Uzbekistan’s most glorious city, Samarkand, offers a fine combination of history and modern urban life.
Museum-lovers will get to explore Imam Bokhari Mausoleum and Regional Studies Museum. Get some cultural insight at Shah-i-Zinda and Gur Emir Mausoleum. Go for a jaunt from Samarkand to Shahrisabz to see Dorut Tilovat about 2 hours away. Abidjan, Ivory Coast to Samarkand is an approximately 22-hour flight. You'll lose 5 hours traveling from Abidjan to Samarkand due to the time zone difference. Traveling from Abidjan in March, expect Samarkand to be cooler, temps between 17°C and 5°C. Cap off your sightseeing on the 28th (Sat) early enough to travel to Bukhara.

Take a train from Samarkand to Bukhara in 2.5 hours. Alternatively, you can fly; or drive. In March in Bukhara, expect temperatures between 19°C during the day and 5°C at night. Finish your sightseeing early on the 30th (Mon) to allow enough time to travel to Tashkent.
