Nainital

The popular hill station of Nainital was named after the pear-shaped lake around which the resort town has evolved.
Start off your visit on the 1st (Fri): explore the activities along Nainital Lake. Get ready for a full day of sightseeing on the 2nd (Sat): contemplate in the serene atmosphere at Goddess Naina Devi, then learn about wildlife with up-close encounters at High Altitude Zoo, and then explore the activities along Bhimtal Lake.

Bengaluru to Nainital is an approximately 6.5-hour flight. You can also drive; or take a train. Finish up your sightseeing early on the 2nd (Sat) so you can catch the flight to Rishikesh.

Rishikesh draws in visitors of all creeds with its wealth of ashrams and yoga and meditation teaching centers.
You'll find plenty of places to visit near Rishikesh: Haridwar (Har ki Pauri & Ganga Aarti at Haridwar). Next up on the itinerary: relax and rejuvenate at some of the best spas, contemplate in the serene atmosphere at Parmarth Niketan Ashram, relax and float downstream with a rafting and tubing tour, and take in the views from Lakshman Jhula Bridge.

You can fly from Nainital to Rishikesh in 3 hours. Other options are to drive; or do a combination of train and taxi. Cap off your sightseeing on the 6th (Wed) early enough to go by car to Dehradun.

Located in a forested valley, Dehradun stands as a gateway to the hill stations and pilgrimage sites higher up.
On the 7th (Thu), take in the spiritual surroundings of Tibetan Buddhist Temple, take in the spiritual surroundings of Shri Parkasheshwar Mahadev Mandir, then contemplate the waterfront views at Robber's Cave, Gucchu Paani, and finally get the adrenaline pumping with an extreme tour. Keep things going the next day: take in the spiritual surroundings of Shiv Mandir, see the sights as you ascend with a climbing tour, and then deepen your understanding at Forest Research Institute.
