Utah's capital and most populous city, Salt Lake City boasts a small-town feel, big-city amenities, and plenty of nature on its doorstep.
On the 3rd (Thu), get a taste of the local shopping with Fatali Gallery and then make a trip to Park City Main Street Historic District. On your second day here, contemplate the long history of Assembly Hall, then contemplate in the serene atmosphere at The Tabernacle, then contemplate in the serene atmosphere at Salt Lake Temple, and finally contemplate in the serene atmosphere at Temple Square.
