Most visitors take a trip to Mount Lemmon to visit Summerhaven, a small town providing a summer residence for many.
Start off your visit on the 27th (Fri): see the sky in a new way at Mt. Lemmon SkyCenter Observatory. Keep things going the next day: engage your brain at Biosphere 2, stroll around Oracle State Park, and then fly down the slopes at Mount Lemmon Ski Valley.

Founded in 1877 as a mining camp, Tombstone became one of the most storied towns of the "Wild West." As one of the last frontier boomtowns in the United States, Tombstone prospered between 1880 and 1890, attracting cattle rustlers and outlaws.
Kick off your visit on the 29th (Sun): see the sky in a new way at Butterfield RV Resort Observatory and then Head underground at Kartchner Caverns State Park. Keep things going the next day: look for gifts at Arlene's S.W. Silver & Gold, get engrossed in the history at O.K. Corral, then have some family-friendly fun at Old Tombstone Western Theme Park, then delve into the mystery of Bird Cage Theatre, and finally stroll the grounds of Boothilll Graveyard.

One of the fastest-growing metropolitan areas in the country, Tucson is a city on a cultural crossroads, with European, Native American, Mexican, and Asian residents blending and sometimes conflicting with one another.
Attractions like Old Tucson and Reid Park Zoo make great kid-friendly stops. Step out of Tucson to go to Marana and see Wild Burro Trail, which is approximately 40 minutes away. There's still lots to do: take in breathtaking views at Sabino Canyon, admire the striking features of Mission San Xavier del Bac, get to know the resident critters at Funny Foot Farm and Tucson Petting Zoo, and examine the collection at Pima Air and Space Museum.
