Trabzon, historically known as Trebizond is a city on the Black Sea coast of northeastern Turkey and the capital of Trabzon Province. Soumela Monastery and Yeni Cuma Camii will appeal to history buffs. Atatürk Köşkü and Trabzon Museum are good opportunities to explore the local culture.
