Overlooking one of Tasmania's most scenic strips of coastline and serving as the gateway to Freycinet National Park, Coles Bay is home to just 500 permanent residents.
Get outdoors at Friendly Beaches and Freycinet National Park. Relax by the water at Wineglass Bay and Honeymoon Bay. Take a break from Coles Bay with a short trip to Spiky Beach Conservation Area in Swansea, about 40 minutes away. There's still lots to do: admire all the interesting features of Coles Bay Jetty and learn about winemaking at Gala Estate Vineyard.
