Nantou

Traveling by combination of bus and train from Nantou to Hualien takes 5.5 hours. Alternatively, you can drive. Expect somewhat warmer evenings in Hualien when traveling from Nantou in February, with lows around 20°C. Finish your sightseeing early on the 7th (Fri) so you can drive to Taitung.

Taitung

Sitting between the mountains and the sea, Taitung offers pleasing scenery no matter what direction you face.
Kick off your visit on the 8th (Sat): walk around Human Rights Culture Park, head off the coast to Green Island, and then head off the coast to Sanxiantai. Keep things going the next day: walk around Xiouyeliu, stroll around Taidong Forest Park, then take an in-depth tour of Beinan Wenhua Park, and finally don't miss a visit to Taitung Brown's Road.

You can drive from Hualien to Taitung in 2.5 hours. Alternatively, you can take a train. Wrap up your sightseeing on the 9th (Sun) early enough to drive to Hengchun.

Hengchun

Kick off your visit on the 10th (Mon): explore the wealth of natural beauty at Kenting National Park, then stroll around Longpan Park, and then enjoy breathtaking views from Southern Point.
