Ella

The relaxing hilltop village of Ella benefits from a more temperate climate than much of the rest of country thanks to its high elevation.
On the 23rd (Mon), take in the views from Nine Arches Bridge, then explore the striking landscape at Ella Rock, and then admire the sheer force of Ravana Ella Falls. On the 24th (Tue), you'll have a packed day of sightseeing: look for gifts at R. M. S Antique And Brassware, look for gifts at I Love Ceylon Gallery, take in nature's colorful creations at Ella Spice Garden, then take in the awesome beauty at Little Adam's Peak, and finally look for gifts at Ella Gem & Jewelry.

Jaipur, India to Ella is an approximately 12-hour combination of flight and taxi. Wrap up your sightseeing on the 24th (Tue) early enough to drive to Unawatuna.

Unawatuna

Palm-fringed beaches with golden sand, turquoise water, and a colorful coral reef are enough to draw any beachgoer to Unawatuna, but there's plenty to do off the beach here as well.
On the 25th (Wed), enjoy the sand and surf at Mirissa Beach and then see majestic marine mammals with a dolphin and whale watching tour. Keep things going the next day: steep yourself in history at Galle Fort, take in the exciting artwork at Pilgrims Lounge Chrishtopher Handicraft and Paint Gallery, then don't miss a visit to Japanese Peace Pagoda, and finally kick back and relax at Jungle Beach.

Drive from Ella to Unawatuna in 3.5 hours. Alternatively, you can do a combination of taxi and flight; or fly. In December, daily temperatures in Unawatuna can reach 36°C, while at night they dip to 28°C. Finish your sightseeing early on the 26th (Thu) to allow enough time to travel to Kandy.

Nestled between mountains in inland Sri Lanka, Kandy proudly bears its World Heritage Site designation while remaining culturally independent and colorfully picturesque.
On the 27th (Fri), explore the activities along Kandy Lake, stroll the grounds of Kandy Garrison Cemetery, then contemplate in the serene atmosphere at Temple of the Sacred Tooth Relic, and finally take in nature's colorful creations at Royal Botanical Gardens. Getting from Unawatuna to Kandy by flight takes about 3 hours. Other options: drive; or do a combination of bus and taxi. Wrap up your sightseeing on the 28th (Sat) early enough to drive to Sigiriya.
