Sitting along either side of the Nakdong River, Andong maintains an unrivalled reputation as a center for Korean folk and cultural heritage.
On the 11th (Tue), wander the streets of Andong Gunja Village and then steep yourself in history at Dosanseowon Confucian School.

Drive from Seoul to Andong in 3 hours. Alternatively, you can take a bus; or take a train. When traveling from Seoul in June, plan for little chillier days in Andong, with highs around 68°F, while nights are about the same with lows around 64°F. Wrap up your sightseeing by early afternoon on the 11th (Tue) to allow time for travel to Jeju.

The main town on the largest of Korea's islands, Jeju has a volcanic landscape protected by UNESCO.
Kick off your visit on the 12th (Wed): take in the spiritual surroundings of Gwaneumsa Temple, trek along Hallasan, and then get curious at Nexon Computer Museum. Keep things going the next day: identify plant and animal life at Jeju 1100 Altitude Wetland and then explore the world behind art at Bonte Museum.

Traveling by flight from Andong to Jeju takes 4.5 hours. Alternatively, you can do a combination of car and ferry; or do a combination of train, taxi, and ferry. Finish your sightseeing early on the 13th (Thu) to allow enough time to travel back home.
