The small town of Shirdi remains a popular pilgrimage destination, best known as the place where Sai Baba, a 19th-century spiritual guru, lived his later years.
On the 3rd (Mon), contemplate in the serene atmosphere at Gyan Thirth, Shri Parshvanath Digambar Jain Mandir and then take in the spiritual surroundings of Dwarkamai Masjid. On the 4th (Tue), you'll have a packed day of sightseeing: examine the collection at Dixit Wada Museum, contemplate in the serene atmosphere at Shri Saibaba Sansthan Temple, contemplate in the serene atmosphere at Khandoba Mandir, then steep yourself in history at House of Laxmibai Shinde, then take in the spiritual surroundings of Maruti Mandir, and finally contemplate the long history of Baba's Chavadi.

Only one word accurately describes India's commercial capital Mumbai: big.
Take a break from the city and head to Marine Drive and Chowpatty Beach. Visit Shree Siddhivinayak and Babulnath Temple for their historical value. There's much more to do: steep yourself in history at Chhatrapati Shivaji Terminus, contemplate in the serene atmosphere at Shree Ramakrishna Math, Khar, pause for some photo ops at Gateway of India, and identify plant and animal life at Bhandup Pumping Station.

Getting from Shirdi to Mumbai by car takes about 3.5 hours. Other options: take a train; or take a bus. In June in Mumbai, expect temperatures between 38°C during the day and 30°C at night. Wrap up your sightseeing by early afternoon on the 8th (Sat) to allow time for travel to Goa.

On India's western coastline, the former Portuguese colony of Goa tells a visibly different story than the rest of India.
Kids will appreciate attractions like Baga Beach and Palolem Beach. Get in touch with nature at Agonda Beach and Animal Shelter Agonda. There's still lots to do: admire the landmark architecture of Basilica of Bom Jesus and contemplate in the serene atmosphere at St. Augustine's Tower.

You can fly from Mumbai to Goa in 4 hours. Other options are to drive; or do a combination of train and taxi. Expect slightly colder weather when traveling from Mumbai in June: highs in Goa hover around 35°C, while lows dip to 29°C. Wrap up your sightseeing on the 11th (Tue) to allow time to travel back home.
