A modern city and a major transport hub facing Seto Inland Sea, Takamatsu offers a bustling city lifestyle contrasted with carefully manicured, tranquil green areas at the foot of the mountains and the lava plateau.
Eschew the tourist crowds and head to Teshima Art Museum and Art House Project. Escape the urban bustle at Himawari no Sato Manno and Kaze no Michi. Explore the numerous day-trip ideas around Takamatsu: Marugame Castle (in Marugame), Great Seto Bridge (in Kurashiki) and Okuiya Niju Kazurabashi Bridge (in Miyoshi). And it doesn't end there: take in the pleasant sights at Ritsurin Garden, admire the masterpieces at Chichu Art Museum, make a trip to Akakabocha, and contemplate the long history of Kotohira-gu Shrine.

Tel Aviv, Israel to Takamatsu is an approximately 19-hour flight. You can also do a combination of flight and train; or do a combination of flight and bus. Getting from Naruto to Kochi by car takes about 2.5 hours. Other options: take a train; or take a bus. Traveling from Naruto in October, expect nights in Kochi to be about the same, around 19°C, while days are a bit warmer, around 28°C. Cap off your sightseeing on the 7th (Mon) early enough to go by car to Matsuyama.
