Seoul

— 9 nights
One of east Asia's major cultural and financial centers, Seoul boasts five World Heritage Sites and a huge selection of museums, temples, shrines, palaces, parks, gardens, and glass-and-steel skyscrapers.
Step off the beaten path and head to Bukhansan National Park and Yeouido Park. Visiting Eulwangni Beach and Cheonggyecheon Stream will get you outdoors. Get out of town with these interesting Seoul side-trips: Paju (The Third Tunnel & DMZ Haemaru Village), Ilsan Lake Park (in Goyang) and Everland (in Yongin). The adventure continues: wander the streets of Myeongdong Shopping Street, stop by Insadong, get engrossed in the history at Gyeongbokgung Palace, and take some stellar pictures from N Seoul Tower.
