Seoul

— 9 nights
One of east Asia's major cultural and financial centers, Seoul boasts five World Heritage Sites and a huge selection of museums, temples, shrines, palaces, parks, gardens, and glass-and-steel skyscrapers.
Give yourself a bit of retail therapy at Myeongdong Shopping Street and Namdaemun Market. Visiting Cheonggyecheon Stream and Bukhansan National Park will get you outdoors. Change things up with these side-trips from Seoul: Paju (The Third Tunnel & DMZ Haemaru Village), Eulwangni Beach (in Incheon) and Yongin (Korean Folk Village & Everland). Pack the 7th (Tue) with family-friendly diversions at Lotte World. Plan for a day of cool, family-friendly fun on the 9th (Thu) at Icheon Termeden. There's still lots to do: get engrossed in the history at Gyeongbokgung Palace, admire the natural beauty at Namsan Park, admire the striking features of Changdeokgung Palace, and get great views at N Seoul Tower.
