One of east Asia's major cultural and financial centers, Seoul boasts five World Heritage Sites and a huge selection of museums, temples, shrines, palaces, parks, gardens, and glass-and-steel skyscrapers.
Gyeongbokgung Palace and Hwaseong Fortress will appeal to history buffs. Get in touch with nature at Cheonggyecheon Stream and Bukhansan National Park. Get out of town with these interesting Seoul side-trips: Ilsan Lake Park (in Goyang) and Eulwangni Beach (in Incheon). Pack the 22nd (Sun) with family-friendly diversions at Seoul Children's Grand Park. There's lots more to do: admire the striking features of Changdeokgung Palace, contemplate in the serene atmosphere at Myeong-dong Cathedral, make a trip to Bukchon Hanok Village, and get engrossed in the history at National Museum of Korea.

If you are flying in from Singapore, the closest major aiports are Gimpo International Airport, Incheon International Airport and Osan Air Base. In April, plan for daily highs up to 20°C, and evening lows to 9°C. Wrap up your sightseeing on the 22nd (Sun) to allow time to travel back home.
