Seoul

— 9 nights
One of east Asia's major cultural and financial centers, Seoul boasts five World Heritage Sites and a huge selection of museums, temples, shrines, palaces, parks, gardens, and glass-and-steel skyscrapers.
Shop till you drop at Myeongdong Shopping Street and Dongdaemun Market. Get some historical perspective at Gyeongbokgung Palace and Cheonggyecheon Stream. Venture out of the city with trips to Paju (The Third Tunnel & DMZ Haemaru Village), Ilsan Lake Park (in Goyang) and Eulwangni Beach (in Incheon). Pack the 15th (Sun) with family-friendly diversions at Seoul Children's Grand Park. There's still lots to do: wander the streets of Insadong, admire the natural beauty at Changdeokgung Palace, brush up on your military savvy at The War Memorial of Korea, and stroll around Namsan Park.
