Start off your visit on the 8th (Thu): look for gifts at Mercado Municipal, then look for all kinds of wild species at Costa Rica Wildlife Sanctuary, and then stroll through Vargas Park. Cartago is a city in Costa Rica, about 25km east of the capital, San José. You'll discover tucked-away gems like Center for Tropical Agricultural Research and Education (CATIE) and Iglesia de San Jose de Orosi and the Museum.
