Pittsburgh

City of Bridges

Known primarily for its steel-related heritage and 446 bridges, Pittsburgh sits at the confluence of the Monongahela and Allegheny Rivers, which meet to form the Ohio River.
You'll find plenty of places to visit near Pittsburgh: Fallingwater (in Mill Run), Kentuck Knob (in Chalk Hill) and Saint Vincent College (in Latrobe). On the 15th (Tue), spend a day ambling around Mill Creek Park. There's still lots to do: take in nature's colorful creations at Phipps Conservatory and Botanical Gardens, take an in-depth tour of Senator John Heinz History Center, get up close and personal with brilliant marine life at Pittsburgh Zoo & PPG Aquarium, and traverse land and water with a duck tour.

In June in Pittsburgh, expect temperatures between 79°F during the day and 62°F at night.
