Often called the "End of the World" because of its position on the southernmost tip of South America, the expanding city of Ushuaia serves as both a busy commercial port and attractive tourist hub.
On the 8th (Fri), step off the mainland to explore Isla Bridges. On the next day, explore the striking landscape of Tierra del Fuego National Park and then don't miss a visit to Galeria Tematica Historia Fueguina.

Porto Alegre, Brazil to Ushuaia is an approximately 7-hour flight. You can also do a combination of car and ferry; or take a bus. In November, Ushuaia is colder than Porto Alegre - with highs of 11°C and lows of 3°C. Finish your sightseeing early on the 10th (Sun) to allow enough time to travel to El Chalten.

Nestled up against the hills of the Los Glaciares National Park, El Chalten serves as one of the nation's most bustling hubs for hikers and backpackers heading out into the wild landscape of southern Patagonia.
Visiting Laguna Torre and Glaciar Huemul will get you outdoors. You'll explore the less-touristy side of things at Laguna de los Tres and Chorillo del Salto. There's much more to do: take some stellar pictures from Mirador del Torre, explore and take pictures at Road to El Chalten, and contemplate the waterfront views at Laguna Capri.

Traveling by combination of flight and bus from Ushuaia to El Chalten takes 5.5 hours. Alternatively, you can do a combination of car and ferry; or take a bus. Finish up your sightseeing early on the 13th (Wed) so you can travel to San Carlos de Bariloche.

San Carlos de Bariloche

Nestled against the foothills of the Andes, scenic San Carlos de Bariloche hugs the southern shore of Nahuel Huapi Lake and ranks among Argentina's top destinations for active outdoor vacations.
You'll explore the less-touristy side of things at Kayaking & Canoeing and Museo del Lago Gutierrez. Get a sense of the local culture at Parroquia San Eduardo and Monumento Historico Municipal Capilla La Inmaculada. There's much more to do: cast your line with a fishing tour, take a peaceful walk through Parque Nacional Nahuel Huapi, stroll through Playa Bonita, and take a leisurely stroll along Puerto Panuelo.

You can do a combination of bus and flight from El Chalten to San Carlos de Bariloche in 7.5 hours. Other options are to take a bus; or drive. Expect a daytime high around 21°C in November, and nighttime lows around 3°C. On the 17th (Sun), you'll have the morning to explore before heading back home.
