10 days in Munnar, Rameswaram & Tirupati Itinerary

Sitting at the point where three mountain rivers meet, the hill station of Munnar has become known as a tea-growing center in the south of the country.

Escape the urban bustle at Thattekad Bird Sanctuary and Lakkam Waterfalls. Get a sense of the local culture at Tea Museum and C.S.I Christ Church. Spend the 18th (Mon) exploring nature at Rajamalai (Eravikulam) National Park. New Delhi to Munnar is an approximately 6.5-hour combination of flight and taxi. You can also drive; or do a combination of train and taxi. Expect little chillier temperatures when traveling from New Delhi in June; daily highs in Munnar reach 35°C and lows reach 28°C. You'll have a few hours on the 20th (Wed) to wrap things up before traveling to Rameswaram.

In June, daily temperatures in Tirupati can reach 44°C, while at night they dip to 32°C. Finish your sightseeing early on the 25th (Mon) to allow enough time to travel back home.
