Tucked away on the wild southern coast of Mauritius, the village of Bel Ombre feels somewhat off the beaten track, yet the five-star resorts and hotels offer as comfortable and luxurious a vacation as anywhere on the island.
Venture out of the city with trips to Chamarel (Chamarel’s Seven Coloured Earth Geopark & Ebony Forest Reserve). Spend the 8th (Mon) exploring nature at Black River Gorges National Park.
